Data Deletion

This page covers the public website, the Organizer app and private Preview, and information deliberately sent to Tawasul through a communication channel.
On your device
Language, appearance, policy acceptance, measurement choice, and introductory-journey state are stored on your device. Change the available choices in Profile. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes those local preferences from that device.
Stop optional measurement
Open Profile → Privacy and data and choose Off. Future app-use measurement stops immediately and unsent signals are cleared. Earlier raw signals use an in-memory session ID that is not linked to an account, person, device, wedding, or Guest, so Tawasul generally cannot isolate one person's earlier signal for individual deletion. All raw signals expire after no more than 30 days.
Current Preview and wedding closure
The public website does not create a customer account. The Organizer Preview currently allows sample information only. An authorized Event Lead can request wedding closure in Wedding settings; work and access continue while it is reviewed, and deletion is not immediate. Approved deletion follows the controlled lifecycle and may be delayed by a protective or legal hold. Reception assignments, semantic audit evidence, security reviews, and attendance-report versions follow the same controlled wedding lifecycle. Do not use this Preview path for real personal information.
Send a privacy or deletion request
Email support@jointawasul.com with the subject “Tawasul data request”. Use the address associated with your conversation when possible, identify the relevant channel or wedding without including private links, and provide only enough information for us to locate the record. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal where applicable.
Verification, other people, and retention
We may ask for proportionate verification so one person cannot access or erase another person's information. We will act without undue delay, explain any lawful limit, and confirm the outcome through a secure channel. Some information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, financial or legal obligations, another person's rights, or an active hold; it will be isolated from ordinary use and deleted when the reason ends where required.
Linked services
Removing Tawasul from Facebook, Instagram, or another linked account stops future platform access but may not delete information already sent to Tawasul. Complete the email step above for Tawasul records and use the provider's own controls for information it holds independently.
Future account creation
If a production Tawasul app later allows customer account creation, it must provide a readily discoverable in-app deletion request and this public external route before store release. The current Preview does not authorize or claim that production account flow.
